start XFdisk ( menu 1.diskpart toosl - more -2.eXtended Fdisk 0.9.3
select 3.part - add entry : "DOS" F3 exit + update
set boot behaviour / timelimits a.s.o vi XFDISK
3.rd part is C: under DOS
R: is Hiren Boot installed
A: is Hiren Boot CD
DOS system transfer to C:
log in R:
SYS A: C: transfers BOOT + systemfiles to C:
COPY A:*.* C: transfers all HIREN root files to C

reboot ....select XP or DOS

Boot WinXP

CAVE : copy files form R: to C: means yo copy "installed" Hiren Boot CD NOT the CD contets itself
so use copy form A: instead if you want to "clone" the CD

scope : reset Itronix IX250 BIOS password
tools :FDU / CDROM Boot MS-DOS 3 /4/5
CAVE ! newer DOS versions might NOT boot proper because of DATE / TIME error resulting in DIVIDE overflow errors or similiar
Amiflash programm + BIOS image for IX250 (donwload here)

workout:
1. remove external power supply & Batterie
2. remove LI batterie under lid "RTC" bottom of IX250
3. power up with external ps
4. select F1 Setup form BIOS error screen
5. blank password (ENTER) 3 times
IX250 is doing warmboot
6. on BIOS message press F1 resume
7. Boot from FDU or HDU in to MSDOS
8. put date/dtime into MSDOS if asked
you should be in MSDOS now A:>
start AMIFLASH with approprate BIOS image
flash program resets IX250
power down - remove powersupply - install LI-batterie
Start IX250 - goto BIO and change supervisor password to blan i.e. disable
